Cinaed

A gift for a friend of mine! o/

His name is Ciáned, which in Gaelic means "born of fire".

Doesn't make any sense to have an eastern dragon have a gaelic name.. oh well, at least it sounds nice. xD

I failed on his belly when I was making the lineart, it is looking really good comparing to how it was without coloring. And I believe his left arm (the one behind him) is very, very off..

When I was coloring, I realized that I only had one red marker, and it was BURN YOUR EYES red, so his scales were painted mostly using the orange/yellow colours I used for his mane and belly, some weird shades of brown and some REALLY weird pinkish color, and only a little of the red, and for that one, I used way too much blender..
Resuming, I really didn't believe his scales would turn out well..

As always, the scanner hates me and I had to fix it with photoshop, it is like there is a ghost inside the scanner.. ><

Oh, and I really have no idea of how to do a background traditionally...

Media used: Prismacolor Markers, Staedtler fineliner pens, 1 Caran d'Ache Pablo pencil (yes, just one.. I'm poor ><) and Canson paper.
